The £abyrinth Of Fears

This is a roleplay based on the Labyrinth Of Fear's Chronicles authored by Jessica Oakes. It started out as a roleplay and so I'm using the layout of the old roleplay when her grammar wasnt very good.

You lay in bed, trying to fall asleep, but something keeps nagging at the back of your mind. A heavy, dark mist was settling outside your window and around your house. You fall into a restless sleep, feeling as if you're being watched. You wake up in the middle of the night only to find you're not in your bed anymore. Thick, ragged hedges and crumbling walls surround you. Standing up, you can't help but tense in fear. Something about this whole place was.....Disturbing. As you walk down a hall-like path, you notice they were everywhere, some dead ends, some looking as if they go on forever, and some that twist and turn into thick mists that seemed to be alive. You swallow as bile rises in your throat. " where am I....." you wonder aloud. A voice that belonged to no one you could see answered in a whisper next to you " why the £abryinth of course......" an eerie laugh echoes the voice as you see something in the shadows, lurking towards you.

You're trapped in a never ending maze where your worst fears are brought to life, whatever they may be. If you can't learn to control your fears they might just end up killing you. It's happened to others countless times. No one exactly knows why or how they got to the maze but rumor has it the mist that surrounds the place brought them here for food. Unfortuantely, it likes to play with it's prey before killing it. If you please the mist(by some miracle) it just might give you a little something to help you survive.

~The Mist:Somthing Draco, the 1st maze creator, made to manage the fears that he could not guess. The maze wound up over powering him.

~Desmond:The third Maze Creator. He creates Fears and kills you within them. He changes shape and he's the host of the mist. He's the lesser. (Oacaiv)

~Alastair:is a medium-tall man, maybe 5 ''8. He looks to be about 35 maybe, normal build, like an average adult, short cut brownish hair, all his human disguise. With greenish gray eyes that look like they are barely real. His demon form is about 7 ''8 reddish black skin, with a bone harness x-ing across his chest like a racing car harness, the bones are attached by leather straps. he carries a sword made of pure obsidian fused with diamond, there is a ruby in the pommel, the sword is a two-handed sword that is in the style of a double edged claymore. The eyes are black with a ring of red and a ring of yellow. (Oacaiv)

~Apollo:Never is his host and he loves to punish Never for pickking a fight with him. Take the shape of his host and strains the body until it dies. (Jess Mist Admin)

~Shade:16 year old guy; Medium Height with long black hair and piercing blue eyes. He's a Lycan. Loves Fade. Fears, Spiders. (Oacaiv)

~Draco:His host is Shade. He's the first and most powerful maze creator that had once made the mist the now runs it. Althea, the queen of demons, is his mother. Desmonde is his Brother along with Apollo. (Oacaiv)

~Fade Frost:15 year old girl; She has long waist length black hair with short side bangs and even shorter middle bangs. Her hair is usually worn up in a high pony tail. She has ruby red eyes and doesnt talk. At all. It's not that she cant. It's that she wont. And if she is touched by some one she doesnt trust, she will beat the crap out of them until they beg for mercy. She was locked in a freezer and tortured. It's her only memory. Her brother is Iris and her real name is Althea Heartland. Her worst fear is being left alone and being left behind. (Jess Mist Admin)

~Iris Frost:16 year old guy; Has Strawberry blond hair with amber eyes. He's a vampire, and he has red eyes when his vampirism activates. He's Fades Brother. When her soul shattered he was going to find somthing to bring her back but when he asked a vampire to put her soul on a seal the price was his humanity. (Jess Mist Admin)

~Never Evermore:15 year old guy; brown hair with blue eyes. He was the very first victim of the Labyrinth but when he got out he challenged the second maze creator. When he lost Apollo decided to punish him for the rest of his life. so he consumed him and trapped him in the labyrinth forever. He recently made an agreement so Apollo will stop straining his body. ~Kiyru:16 year old guy; long black hair to the middle of his back pulled back into a ponytail. 5' 10" Black shirt with a black and red yin yang on it and inside of it has a red dragon and black tiger on opposite sides of it. Black cargo pants. Ruby red eyes with slits in them like a dragons. His worst fear is not being able to protect those he loves. He's also a Demon with a huge crush on Fade. (Kiyru13)

Shade's eyes dashed back and forth behind closed eyelids as he relived that same nightmare he'd had every night for a few years. He was watching a scene play out, like watching from a T.V. screen. The scene was a dark foggy room, you could barely see 10-feet in any direction. The air was cold and stale, and reeked of..death? He was never sure. There were three people there. He, Fade, his love, and Iris, Fade's brother. A shadowy figure stood in the mist, laughing evilly, like he was about to do something. A few seconds later, strange tendril like things, that looked like they were made of pure darkness lashed out and tried to wrap around Fade, but Shade stepped in front of her at the last second, as they were only about a foot apart. They trapped him instead and he screamed in pain, feeling like his very essence was burning away. Fade was screaming for the man to let him go, and iris's eyes were starting to flare red. A second later the air rippled around Shade and one of his blue eyes turned gold, and Draco, made himself known,'' Really Alastair? This is the best you can do?'' They flexed their arms a tiny bit, like they would break rope bindings, and the tendrils broke apart into pieces. They rushed forward and tried to strike at Alastair, but were too slow, and Alastair disappeared, appearing behind Fade, drawing a knife and made the motion to stab her in the back. Shade bolted upright in his bed, awakening in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. he always woke up before Fade was stabbed. He looked at the clock and though,''Crap, I'm going to be late.'' He quickly showered, dressed, and got into his car, and drove towards school. halfway there he saw Fade and pulled up next to her,'' Hey, love, want a ride? First bell rings in five minutes and we're still about a mile from school.''

Shade facepalmed,''Forgot once again that you can't remember crap when you first wake up in the morning. You'd think after 5 years I'd remember that. It's me, Shade.'' Shade chuckled and rolled his eyes, stopping the car and popping open the trunk of his 1978 Pontiac Firebird so she could put her bike in it.

Shade sighed,''Are you wearing that necklace I gave you? That usually jogs your memory.''

Shade sighed,'' Of course she leaves it at home again.'' He mumbled to himself. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small key. ''Do you have your bracelet on that has a tiny keyhole?''

Trace inserted the key into the keyhole and unlocked it,'' I gave this to you 2 years ago, same time I gave you the necklace. On the day we had been together for 3 years. Remember now?''

''Remembering what happened with your mother, aren't you? Ever since that day it takes you hours to remember the last few years. I still haven't figured out fully why.'' ''Curse you Alastair'' He mumbled to himself

Kiyru woke up and got everything he needed for shchool and hopped into his 1965 mustang fast back convertable that is cherry red with black racing stripes and headed off to school.

Shade chuckled,'' You'll remember everything in about an hour.'' Shade revved the engine and drove them the rest of the way to school. He parked, then got out and opened the door for Fade,'' Back to Hell we go.''

Kiyru coincidentaly parked his mustang next to shade's and he hopped out and closed his door locking it

Shade smiled,'' Hey Iris, you look enraged at me as ever, you are STILL mad about that? After 3 years?.''

Kiyru looked to see shade fade and iris and said "Hey whats up?"
